When do you restock?

We release a new collection the last Thursday of every month at 9am and all collections will remain available until they are sold.

Will my plants look like the pictures on this site?

Yes. We do not use stock photos. The photos on the product page are photos of the actual plant you will be receiving.

Where are you located?

Our greenhouse is located in Brooklyn, NY. We ship nationwide. Our facilities are currently not open to the public. Ordering is currently only available online, however, we are planning to start doing pop-ups in the local NYC area. Sign up for our newsletter to receive announcements.

If I live in New York City, can I come pick up my order?

Yes. We offer curbside pickup appointments on Tuesdays and Fridays, from 9 am to 9 pm.

After your purchase we will contact you to schedule a time that works best for you.

Where do you ship?

US only. All 50 states and 14 territories.

When should I expect my purchase to be shipped out?

1-4 days after purchase. We ship Monday - Friday. If you'd like your plant shipped on a specific day, just let us know.

Do you offer heat packs?

Yes. For free at our discretion, while supplies last. If you have weather concerns, please reach out to us.

Do you ship plants 365 days a year?

Due to the precarious nature of shipping plants in the winter, we do not ship out any orders from January through March. This is to not only protect the well-being of the plant, but to also protect your investment.

What carrier do you use?

We want these plants to get to you as quickly as possible. To achieve that, we fluctuate carriers based on your location. If you require a specific carrier please reach out to us.

How are the plants shipped and how is the shipping charge calculated?

The base shipping cost for standard shipping will be $12, with an added charge of $3 for each additional plant.

For express shipping, UPS 2-day and USPS Priority Express will be available at checkout.

Express shipping cost is determined by weight and location.

Can you combine separate orders and have them shipped together?

Yes. As long as the shipping label has not been created. Please contact us immediately after the purchase and let us know to combine your orders. If you do combine separate orders, your shipping costs will be appropriately adjusted.

Can you hold plants after purchase?

At our discretion, yes. Contact us before or immediately after purchase to work out a convenient date for shipping. The plant will have to be purchased to be held.

How are plants packaged?

All of our plants are carefully inspected for pests before being packed. They will be shipped in clear pots, so that you can observe the roots without disturbing the potting mix. The pots are placed, and tied, in plastic bags. Then the entire plant is wrapped and packed with newspaper style packing paper in an appropriate box.

What potting medium do you use?

We have plants that grow in semi-hydroponics and traditional potting medium. We use an airy, chunky mix that is sphagnum moss based. It includes long strand sphagnum moss, orchid bark or wood chips, horticultural charcoal, perlite, and worm castings. Any plant that has been growing in semi-hydro will be established in this mix before being listed for sale.

My plant is here, now what?

When your plant arrives do not re-pot, fertilize, or water if the soil is still moist. Place it in a spot that gets medium light. We package your plant in clear pots so that you won't be tempted to disturb the roots. Give your plant time to rest from transit, acclimate to its new home, and grow before you fertilize or re-pot.

My plant has arrived damaged?

Plants going through transit can sometimes take a little bit of a beating. This is not, however, a cause for alarm. Like the grass that grows through the sidewalk, plants are incredibly resilient and will survive in spite of you. Your plant will more often than not bounce back if you give them a little time to relax after their trip.
